Moorebank Unit Relocation

The Australian Government consolidated and upgraded the Holsworthy Barracks.  As part of the upgrade, units based at Moorebank will move to new, purpose-built facilities at the base. The MUR Project involves relocating the School of Military Engineering (SME) and other Defence Units to a new home at Holsworthy

The scope of works included

• Installing 4kms of stormwater pipe up to 5m deep
• Installing 5 GPTs up to 5 m deep
• Install approximately 140 precast pits

The complexities of the job included working in a live army base, around live traffic, pedestrian management, working in and around other utilities
