North Strathfield Rail Underpass.

This project included construction of a new rail underpass at North Strathfield and a new aerial concourse for Concord West Station.

The scope of works included

• Enabling works for Rail expansion,
• Sewer, water and stormwater drainage works installation
• Install 375mm and 300mm MSCL and DICL watermain
• Auger bore underneath the rail line

The complexities of the job included working around live rail, live watermains and sewer, live traffic, traffic switches, pedestrian management, working in and around high voltage electricity, high pressure gas and fibre optic cables. Auger boring underneath the rail line.
